Hi, I’m Nova, and I’m a writer, a lifelong learner, and an epiphany junkie. I’m passionate about exploring ideas that fascinate me–whether it’s economics, personality theory, history, science, food, or the implications of web3–and sharing those passions with others. This blog is about just that, sharing all those fascinations, thoughts, and inspiration with others who care about the same things.
I attended that most esteemed of institutions, Arizona State University, where I learned to research obscure historical periods, grow glowing bacteria on Petri dishes, and drink more Jagermeister than any normal human should consume. Now I have a B.A. in History, a B.S. in Biological Sciences and a deep hatred of shots of alcohol.
I’m a curiosity driven collector of oddities, a curator of ideas big and small, and a passionate admirer of the weird and wild uniqueness that is other people. I’m obsessed with personality tests of all kind and would happily talk to anyone for hours about the subject. I am a Myers-Briggs INFJ, an Enneagram 4w3, a DISC Sc, and my top 5 Clifton Strengths are Empathy, Input, Individualization, Activator, and Futuristic.
I grew up mostly in New Mexico and Arizona and now I live in Austin, TX with my husband, son, and two crazy dogs. You can find me on the following social sites–
